As you know, X-rays play an important role in the diagnosis of dental problems. However, many people are concerned about exposure to X-ray radiation. That’s one of the reasons why we employ the use of state-of-the-art digital X-ray technology. Digital X-rays give us the accurate images we need to treat you properly–but does so with up to 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays. What’s more the images of your teeth appear instantaneously on the computer screen. The images can then be magnified 300x to enhance diagnosis, manipulated to correct contrast and even color adjusted to reveal hidden problems.
