Dr. Goldsmith is board certified in Periodontology and and Dental Implant Surgery. He performs a wide variety of procedures including: Scaling and Root Planning, Osseous Surgery, Guided Bone/Tissue Regeneration, Soft Tissue Grafting, Dental Implants, Sinus Augmentation, Surgical Extractions and Site Preservation, etc.


Dr. Goldsmith graduated Cum Laude from Queens College. He then attended NYU College of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 5% out of a class of more than 400 students. He was also inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.


During his time at NYU College of Dentistry, he received numerous awards and honors including the Dr. Edward G. Kaufman Award for achieving highest GPA in the entire class during his freshman year. In addition, he received the International Congress of Oral Implantologists’ Student Achievement Award, awarded to the senior dental student who displayed the greatest interest in and commitment to oral implantology.

Dr. Goldsmith participated in research on the topic of Craniofacial development during his time at NYU. He presented this research at numerous meetings, enabling him to win the coveted Michael C. Alfano Award for Excellence in Research at NYU Research Scholarship Expo, as well as the Award for Best Basic Science Presentation by a DDS Student.


Dr. Goldsmith continued his education after dental school by completing 3 years of post graduate surgical training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry. Throughout his time in the Post Graduate Periodontics program at NYU, Dr. Goldsmith presented numerous case reports and lectures to his colleagues. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Arthur Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry Award for Outstanding Leadership. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology and New York State Dental Association.


Dr. Goldsmith is married and lives in Manhattan. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis and Settlers of Catan.
